I am an Irish citizen currently travelling in Argentina,and wish to stay here for a year and work and learn Spanish. However in order to obtain the visa under the Working Holiday Agreement signed between, Ireland and Argentina I need to apply for it in Ireland. Therein lies my problem, I have contacted the Argentinan Embassy in Dublin,who said they would pass the query onto the government department dealing with the Working Holiday Agreement, Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto who have still to reply. I got a friend to call Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto and she was told that the Agreement does not exist. I am at a loss for words and do not know what to do. I love Argentina and have embraced the culture and want to embrace it further but this visa is a problem. Can you advise me on what to do or can you be of any assistance. Any help you could give I would be eternally grateful for. I look forward to your response. Kind Regards.

Why do you not contact yourself with the Embassy of Ireland in the Argentina? As I have understud, this agreement exists, though many diffusion has not been given. The mail and telephones of the embassy you can obtain them approachin Internet.
